Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to enjoy this wonderful weekend together. Here’s how we’re approaching accessibility with care…
Our Venue: Deloro Valley
We have been working closely with the Deloro Valley staff since last year to improve Bonobofest’s accessibility and accessibility services. With clearer information about lodging options, more on-site driving passes, and a continuous passenger van shuttle service, we believe that Bonobofest 2026 will be a wonderful experience for all. Please visit our comprehensive accessibility information webpage to learn more. Please send specific questions or accommodation requests to customer support. The retreat managers are happy to discuss any specific accessibility needs. We have an accessibility lead that will follow up with you if you indicate you’d like follow up during checkout to discuss options. We may not be able to accommodate all needs but we are excited to do what we can.
The property is rustic and was built before ADA requirement laws. The main grounds contain pavement, gravel, dirt, and grass and are relatively flat for outdoor land.
There is a walking trail that goes from the Main Lodge in Base Camp to the Cabins in Upper Camp. Please see the map, walking trail marked in red. It takes about 5-8 minutes to walk up the trail, with a steady walk. The walking trail is not paved, and there is some gravel. The distance is about a quarter mile.
There is also a driving road that is paved, that goes from the Main Parking lot to the Upper Camp Cabins. Guests can walk up the paved road or bring electric bikes. The walk up the paved road may take a couple minutes longer to walk up, because you have to walk up and around the Event Center.
Note: Unfortuately due to venue constraints we cannot accommodateaccomodate CPAPsS in tent or RV/Car Camping (no hookups).
